Founded in 1997, The Refined Canine, LLC follows the philosophy of The LIMA Principle, which means we employ the Least Invasive, Minimally Aversive methods possible to help build a strong relationship based on mutual trust and respect between a dog and his people. Our focus on enhancing the human-animal relationship is at the forefront of our work. All training methods are non-physical and proven to work. The Refined Canine, LLC has worked with dogs at all levels of obedience, offering group classes, private lessons and behavior modification counseling. We offer a unique, family-focused approach to training and encourage all family members to participate, including children.
